Catobase?

What is Catobase? Where can I get it? How do I use it? And is there a tutorial of some sort on how to use it? Are there other third party programs like Catobase that I could possibly use? Just wondering all this because I've heard about it and seen profiles done by Catobase and it seems it records more data than the regular OOTP engine. Any answers and recommendations to third party software to enhance the OOTP experience is appreciated so thanks in advance.

CatoBase is a historical database that's much more detailed than OOTP's almanac. Jeff Cato's site is either down or dead at this time, but I'd say some of the add-on sites have it. Check the Mods forum.

This might be a silly question but what's a mods forum and how can I get there?

He's been out of contact for quite a while now. Sadly, I think we may have reached the end of the road with Catobase. It's easily the most important utility for the game. I can't imagine playing out a league without it now.

Yeah, I also think that Jeff has left the building. Huge loss, no doubt.

Wow. If that's true that he's gone then we've really got to push Markus to incorporate much of CatoBase into OOTP7's Almanac. That, a beefed up Exporter, and parts of BOSI would all be great additions.

You can do multiple seasons at once just make sure the "Current Year Only" option is unchecked.

I would backup the MDB after each import though. Just in case somewhere along the line you have an import that seemingly works until you try to spit out the HTML.

I tried doing what you did (imported all the season stats first, then html al at once later). Catobase did not process the pages for the league "Statistics & Leaders." It only made those pages for the last season you imported.

EDIT: Thanks, DaveHorn. So that's why mine was that way.
