Online League Conversions

My league will shortly be moving to OOTP6 and I was wondering when the best time to import from OOTP5 to 6 would be. Should I import before flipping to the next season or import after flipping? I was wondering if any of you have any insight to this matter. I'm sure many leagues have made the leap from 5 to 6 by now.

We just looked at this a fair bit for the CBL and came up with it is best to convert after proceeding and then edit what you need/want to, which could be a fair bit. It is mixed in with discussion on other options as well, but you might like to see how we came to that conclusion:
