Sending Cash
I was just curious on what everyone thought about trades involving cash.... or trades involving just cash, basically buyin a player.

Might be nice to have this an option to be turned on or off.

I don't think anyone would really oppose this option

I think its a very realistic thing - especially in a game with the money. I just simulate the trading of cash, when I do deals, because its easy to do - obviously.
So, while having a mechanism would be easier. It would probably be better if they spent time on other stuff, rather than implementing a feature that is still possible now - only you have to take a little creative license. Besides, a team probably wouldn't make a deal for straight cash for its star player and I think a mechanism would possibly allow that - which would be generally unrealistic. Except in situations where cash-strapped teams wanted to dump salary. Sometimes, if I want to make a deal for two players between teams, using cash, I'll lower the salary of the player they're getting to compensate for the amount I'll pay them for him. It often works and it's basically what you'd do if you were sending them money. Then when he gets on their team, you give them the amount you're sending and then change his salary back to how it was.

Honestly, I wouldn't want him to spend any time, because this is so damn easy to do anyway- have the comish edit it to reflect the deal. I think Markus could probably use the time more productively, and I think DC showed how easy it is to do.
