Custom PlayOffs Structures?

Is there any way to get OOTP to place the top 4 teams in a league into the playoffs or maybe the division winners from the 1st and 2nd halves of the season, instead of the division winners plus wild card or top 2 teams from 2 divisions? Perhaps there is a way to trick OOTP into thinking these other 2 teams are the 2nd place teams in the divisions?

After the final game of the season, realign the teams the way you want them?

It's a pain in the ass, but it might do the trick...
