Depth Charts Automatically Set Based Upon Lineups

Ok here's an idea that I have that would make minor lineup changes much simpler.

Set your starting lineups, then hit a button that adjusts/sets depth charts automatically based upon the starting lineups entered.

The game can set lineups based upon depth charts, so I would think it would be pretty simple to have it set depth charts based upon lineups.

I like that...would be much easier than the other way around. If you designate the starters...the computer should be able to make reasonable backup decisions.

I love this idea. Let's us start the starters and the computer fill in the less important reserves. I knew there was something that always bothered me about the current way and this is it!

I just use the auto generate buttons, but I think a lot of people would love this. What process do real baseball managers go through? Not that we necessarily need to emulate reality, but say you have 2 players that you would most like to have in the lineup above all others, but you don't have the DH and they both only play the same position? If you do lineups first, they get in there, but then how do you assign the depth charts if they both only play the same position? Definitely interesting idea though.
