Replace Advanced Stats on Player Page With Scouting Report
I know I'm going to get heat for this one.
Please allow the player to put something else on the player screen where the advanced stats are. It is useless to me as I do use them and being forced to look at them takes away my game immersion because of fantasy stats that provide zero value for me in the game. I'd rather have something like the Scouting Report from the Scout tab be in that location. Thanks. |

I agree. Before I was thinking I'd just disable them, but I like your idea of replacing them with scouting report data. Or have 2 screen options: one like 27 and one like 26.
While I do look at some advanced stats from time to time, I just don't want my screen space taken up by a bunch of data I'm usually not interested in. They're like ads, distracting you from the content you want to focus on. Besides, not everyone is playing leagues set in the 2020s. Some people might be annoyed to see these stats when playing leagues set in the 18 or even 1900s. FWIW, this made me wonder: when did scouting start in baseball? Multiple sources on the internet say the 1950s, but that doesn't sound right to me at all. For one, I had assumed it had started well before then, like I thought teams on the east coast were scouting players on the west coast in the 30s, but two, I'm like 99% sure the Dodgers were scouting the negro leagues in the 40s for negro players, it wasn't like Jackie Robinson appeared out of nowhere and from what I understand he wasn't the only one they were looking into either. I guess it depends on how you define "scouting".
