Incorrect playoff matchups in the 2nd round
So have my custom playoffs setup to re-seed, not fixed matchups after the first round and I assume that means that the best remaining team will face-off against the worst remaining team and so on. If you look at the two pictures below that doesn't seem to be the case.
I've tried both first round matchups determined by Seeding (by win %) as well as Position but that's only for the 1st round (wildcard series) So it should be according to re-seeding, (1st) HAL vs (10th) NEW (2nd) POR vs (9th) BRI (3rd) HAR vs (6th) MON (4th) NJ vs 5th (5th) LAB Seems like this happens when two teams have the same record the AI chooses the wrong one to match with the bye team. I bet if no teams finished with the same record this would not happen. Am I missing something? |

I don't think there's enough info here to say for certain whether anything is indeed wrong. I mean, unless I missed something, all the match-ups that might be wrong involve a tied team, no? And I don't know if this is indeed the case, but assuming OOTP uses the same tie-breaking formula as MLB does, which I hope it would, you haven't provided enough info to tell whether OOTP is following the tie-breaking rules or not.
