I like to copy my new OOTP Licence to a document on my desktop, making it easier than scrolling through Emails on installation day, or worse, waiting for a response from customer support.

I do something similar: I put them all in one e-note in my Joplin program. It makes finding them so much easier. I search "license" in it and it instantly pops up at the top of the list.

I remember the old days of trying to find the license after a couple years. What a pain that could be.

I just created a folder in my email for games.
I'm not that rich enough to have as many game emails to scroll through as i do with junk mail.

Out of curiosity, I opened up an old email account that has long been relegated to "I'll probably get spam if I register on this website" duty.

Found my OOTP8 license code.

When I receive my license for OOTP I use the email receipt with the key and I make a new folder in my email and name it, for instance, OOTP 27. I then move that receipt email to that folder. This way I'll never lose it. I have keys going all the way back to 2016

I've got a Google Sheet where I keep all the software registration codes for any of the programs I have that need them. No need to worry about a HD crash potentially wiping them out, and accessible from pretty much anywhere.

Just don't do what I did one year. I kept trying and trying to enter the code I had saved before realizing it was for the last FHM I bought, not OOTP!

Steam has been saving my licenses for me since OOTP 22 or 23.
