Trouble finding skins

This has never been a problem for me before but I can't get the skins to install properly. The short version is, do I need to add a server to find the skins available in Add-Ons Central, and if so, what would that server be? I see nothing listed under Available Add-Ons. Where are the skins for me to install?

The longer version of my problem is that I'm trying to use my custom award icons. Previously I would just add my icons to an images folder within the ootp dark skins folder. Then I delete the skin.bin and the next time I start the game it takes a moment to rebuild the skins, and my custom award icons appear in game. But now if I delete my skin.bin, there's no pause to start the game and changing the skin to dark makes the whole screen go black. I believe it's because I haven't actually installed the dark skin add-on for OOTP26, and therefore it's not rebuilding the skins properly. So ultimately what I'd like to know is where can I find the skins add-ons to install, because nothing is showing up as available add-ons in Add-Ons Central.

Wondering about this as well.
Is it a secret server or something because no one else seems to be asking about it?
I thought by now there would be something somewhere on the internet but I'm not finding anything.

What skin are y'all looking for? The three most common are available from Settings on the Main Start Screen.

There doesn't seem to be the server like there was in '25 so nothing is available in the available add-ons.

I tried adding a server using the address that was in '25 but that doesn't work in '26

There is a skins add-on for the steam version when I checked though.

I've been testing other things in game and haven't done much with my main league thinking this will show up sometime.
Appreciate any help or info, and similarly to CrazyLarry I would like to add my custom awards that I've been using for years into the game.

Yeah, sorry I'm being a little bit confusing - I should have titled this "Trouble finding skins for custom award icons." I already have the dark skin and it's working fine - actually what I need is to be able to *install* the dark skin. Only because the act of installing it will create a skin.bin file that is necessary for modding the awards icons. Without that file being created (existing already doesn't count), the changes won't show up in game.

discodude5 put it more succinctly - Add Ons Central doesn't seem to have a server for OOTP26.

Do I understand this correctly? Add-Ons Central is the substitute for Steam's Workshop Central if you're not using Steam? And unlike the Steam Workshop for OOTP26, there's nothing showing on AOC for OOTP26 so that's leading us to this "there's no server"?

That sounds like a problem for Erik. I'll PM him.

I think it was intended to be a FastSpring-version workshop equivalent but it has been largely abandoned in practice. Most mods just have their downloads in their threads. Even when people tried to put stuff in AOC years ago, I'm not sure if it installed mod pieces in the proper place and pushed out updates automatically the way the Workshop does.

I believe it was before Steam workshop and started to be abandoned back in like 16 or 17. Once Steam workshop was running it was left to just the skins, if I remember correctly

Apologies if this is a dumb thing to ask, but where did the files get uploaded? The Add-Ons Central still shows nothing, and I haven't found anything searching for it, except for the files in the Steam Workshop, which doesn't apply to me because I have the Fastspring version
