Starting new game in challenge mode

Having an issue with starting a new game in Challenge Mode.

I select Challenge Mode
Start the game
When I go to reload it after close the save out it does not indicate Challenge Mode.

Update: The issue seems to only happen when you select the option for 2024 Offseason Start
