I guess combined no-hitters don't mean anything...

Saw my first no-hitter in 3D today. I wasn't aware that combined no-hitters were worthless. Not a single mention of it in the recap or in league news. Womp, womp, I guess.

Combined no-no's have never had a news story though some have of course suggested it be put in the game. I'm not against the addition, but...

IRL I'm not particularly impressed by them and my Cubs had one this year. YMMV.

Just like in real-life, yes, they are worthless and hardly worth mentioning.

Silly thing is it'll generate a news story for a 6 inning no hitter that doesn't actually count yet will ignore a combined one.

I think combined no-hitters mean more to the catcher. Just my take on it.

combined no hitters is the new rage. We will no longer see true no hitters especially now that managers will not allow them to go more than 6 innings or 100 pitches. Real life baseball getting weaker and weaker standards far lower.

Huh. Interesting take. I like it. I agree with others who aren't impressed by combined no-hitters, but this might make me look at who the catcher was.

I keep waiting for the first combined perfect game in MLB lol ... (Google tells me that one did happen in the League That Must Not Be Named in 2007, but I don't think there's been one in the MLB)

Combined perfect game to win the league series to boot. Though League That Must Not Be Named doesn't consider combined as official.
