Player fielding "resulting rating" won't change

I'm sure this is more user error so I apologize if this isn't a bug and I'm just missing something obvious. However, it appears that even with high ratings, some infield positions will not provide a "resulting rating" while others (in this case 1B) will. This seems inconsistent and so thought it might be a bug. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. I've provided a screenshot below to highlight the issue (bottom right). This particular player has played 2B before as I forced started him there just to see if that would clear the issue, it did not.

L/L players will never show ratings for C/2B/3B/SS.

I assume he played there because of injuries or something and the AI had no choice?

I was experimenting and forced the position change and made the edits to the editor myself. I've done this in previous versions of OOTP without issue.

Yes. No left handed thrower has played any of those positions regularly since the 19th century. I believe the last time a lefty played one of those positions at all was 1989.

TIL, that's a really interesting fact. Makes sense when one thinks about it, but didn't occur to me. Also, that solves my issue, thought it was a bug not a feature. Appreciate the illumination. As soon as I changed him to a right-hander, the ratings showed up.
