anyone experiencing this

Wonders if anyone experiencing where the screen goes black and freezes where i cannot close the window and i can only reboot machine going back to my most recent save. This occurs when playing in the game and not simming

We have seen reports of this and are investigating. What game mode are you using (modern 3d, modern 2d, etc...)?

One thing that may help is if you're seeing this, if you go to main screen > settings > 3d & facegen > Open GL Mode > then select 'Use OpenGL only for 3D'

Please let us know if that resolved the issues or not. Also note that we fixed some similar issues in the release build, so do make sure you have updated to 24.1.39 if you have not already done so.

Thats exactly what it shows by default selected it after drop down just in case too

It happened to me after I pinch-hit, and Got the pop-up that a defensive position was missing. the pop-up was against a solid black screen. When I dismissed it my computer froze. I had to do ctrl-alt-delete.

Yeah, it happens to me every time. Everything freezes or gets very slow. I usually takes me 20-30 minutes just to close the game. So frustrating.

This is exactly what happened to my buddy after he pinch hit for his catcher. Not sure if that helps

I'm watching a guy on Twitch and this just happened when he pinch hit for the catcher.

Anyone having this, you are welcome to try the new patch we have in beta https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...66&postcount=8

We will hopefully fully release it to beta and publicly soon once we have a few more things tested, but wanted to get it to people who were having the troubles quicker if they wanted.

This should be fixed in the new patch we've just released. If you run into any similar issues, please let us know exactly where and exactly what was happening just before.

This is still happening after the patch for me.

In game, pinch hit for a player and at the end of the inning got the pop-up about needing to field a complete defense/lineup against a black game screen - could not quit out or continue from there.
