MLB consider 4k instead 3k

rumor has it MLB want to tinker with the game because of dwindling revenue, attendance, interest......of course more OFFENSE will generate the interest (surely not lowering ticket prices)
So they are considering 4 strikes instead of 3 strikes for an out in order to increase offense.

That is categorically false. There is no such rumor or any interest that the MLB is considering a move to 4 k's for an out. Also, such a move would have serious health implications for pitchers.

I would be floored if you're able to provide a credible source for this "rumor".

Outright ridiculous and certainly false. The league's goal is to shorten games by 20 minutes, not tack on 20 minutes.

Bill Veeck suggested the opposite in one of his books, 3 balls for a walk and 2 strikes and you're out. I've seen the suggestion elsewhere, but apparently it's not stupid enough for Manfred to add to the lazy susan of game ruination.

Can you imagine if they actually implemented this? The bleachers would be full of skeletons covered in cobwebs by the time the game finally ended!
