Even if it sells below the 10% threshold (4,444) you don't end up getting less than $4k, so no loss. Just pointless at worst or a nice friendly service to others at best!

I simply wanted to say that it is completely useless to put up a Diamond Card for these prices - after two years some users still haven't realized that they have to "pay" 10% sale tax, so "Buy now"-prices below these 4,444 PP will net less than quick-selling them for 4,000 PP

That's all I wanted to explain - I don't care if you consider this "pointless" or not

I do believe he's correct that if you card sells for less than the minimum plus 10%, you still get the minimum, whether Auction or Quick Sell. I'll be happy to be corrected if wrong, but when it gets that close, I just quicksell the junk anyway...why wait for the points?

I haven't tried and I never will ...
but honestly I don't see any logic in why you would get the same 4000 PP in that example whether you put the card up for a buy-now of 4,200 or 4,400 PP

Just tested it myself… put up a live gold card at 1000 and a buy now of 1001. Someone nabbed the buy now price and I got 1000…. So you are guaranteed card minimum value

There were times I was tired of quick sells, so I sold a live gold at 1,001 and live Diamond at 4,001. I still received a 1,000 and 4,000 from the AH and some player got a deal.
