Add friends

So I joined a league and I am trying to add friends in my perfect team universe. I followed the directions but when I do a search there is no add friend button. Do I have a setting wrong? Is it a bug? Has the way you add friends in 22 changed? The video I saw was from 19.

it's "missing" currently... word is that will be fixed with the next patch (hopefully soon) but haven't seen an update as to exactly when that will happen

Thanks so it isn't just me. I checked every setting and started looking at my anti-virus/firewall settings.
