Royals win Thursday, 4-2...now 7 & oh.
1 error in the first 6 games....4 errors today. Ugh. You know things are going your way when you can make 4 errors in a game and still win.
Here's a funny... MacDougal gave up his first run of the season in the bottom of the 9th...but it was an unearned run - on HIS error. When that happens does the run automatically revert back to being an earned run? Poor Detroit.....

the Royals are runnin away with it.
I picked them to be the surprise team of the year in 2001...two years too early? the AL Central is very weak so it's possible. If the Royals continue to play this well they can beat up on the Tigers, Indians, and White Sox (maybe) and possibly win the wildcard if they dont take the division. I just wouldn't expect the Twins to continue playing this poorly. |

You make a good point YP. The Royals may not be an awesome team, but I see no reason why they can't keep beating these three teams. With the unbalanced schedules, they should get enough games against those guys to make a difference.

They need to get a clue and put Bobby Kielty in the lineup.

They should definitely trade one of those guys... don't forget, they've got LeCroy too, who could easily play every day.

1. Jaque Jones 2. Crisitan Guzman 3. Torii Hunter 4. Corey Koskie 5. Michael Cuddyer 5. Bobby Kielty 7. Doug Mientkiewicz 8. A.J. Pierzynski 9. Luis Rivas Becnh: Tom Prince, Michael Restovich, Dustan Mohr, Denny Hocking, Matt Lecroy. And, since I am on the subject, I have a plea for Gardenhire. Please please put Johan Santana in the starting rotation!

Oh, yeah, that's something that needs to be done as well. He was pretty awesome for a while last year, and today he had 8 K's in 4 IP. The kid has talent. What the hell are they doing with Rick Reed still in the rotation?

Well, Reed was pretty decent last year. He went 15-7 with a 3.78 ERA. He was pone of their most consistent starters. I am just wondering why they picked up Kenny Rogers.

Yeah, I have Santana on my AL only fantasy league. I'm holding out hope that he can still crack the rotation
I have Hunter and Guzman too

Wasn't Rogers picked up because Milton (and Mays somewhat)was such a question mark before things even go going this year?

It might be too early to call the White Sox out of it, and hand over the division to KC.
White Sox pitching should keep them in the hunt. |

Go Royals. Could our first loss come tomorrow with May on the mound? I unfortuantly think so...but you never know the Royals have found ways to win every single game.
