Export Data into Excel Sheet?

Hows it going all? Another poster on here inspired me to manage my minor leagues with an excel sheet. After spending this morning manually inputting data into a sheet, I found the "open report" and "write report to disk" options, however, both of them simply open up a Safari Tab and display a table that cannot be copied properly into excel.

Is there any way to save / export specific info I'm looking at in given tables into data formats that can be opened in excel?

Thanks much for your help in advance!

Unfortunately not. Have you tried cntrl/command + A to select all once you're in your browser page? That's what I do and it works.

IME if you open that page in IE, you can then drag and drop that data into Excel.

Select the data only (headers if you want I suppose). Start upper left, shift click to last entry bottom left.

I use excel with this data all the time. Can get a clean paste of the data if you avoid just clcking CTRL-V or paste. Instead look at the options Excel gives you for formatting when you paste. Your looking for the options that paste plain text and/or retain target formatting (don't keep the source formatting from the browser).

I find where I want to start, typically in the upper left corner (label of the column, say "Name")
Then CLICK, HOLD and DRAG without letting go towards the bottom right, where the last bit of data is, and release.

Then Right Click (I think that's OPTION & CLICK on a Mac) and select Copy.

Head into my spreadsheet and in the left most place I want to add the data,
Right Click again, and this time, PASTE SPECIAL, as I ONLY want the data not the formatting.

I find CNTRL A, C and then V gives too much editing on the back end (Select All, Copy, Paste).

Your mileage may vary...

Good luck
