Missing in-game Sabermetrics

Hey y'all. I'm trying to upgrade my baseball knowledge from the 1970s to now. First step, come to grips with sabermetrics. I notice that the game is missing some that the books and magazines I'm reading say are important. Specifically, wOBA and FIP. Are they on a screen somewhere I haven't found yet? Is there a way to create new metrics within the game?

Both of those metrics are in the game they just are not on the normal stat page. You can create a custom view to see them. Not in front of the game at the moment but if you are on your teams roster there will be a drop down box in the upper left that starts out saying default and you can change what is displayed through that, even making a custom view.

You can also customize screens all to heck as well. I have a version that I use for my deadball-era league that doesn't include a lot of the secondary stats that teams wouldn't have looked at back then as well as some ratings that might have been extra-important (like fielding ratings). I have a post-war stats screen that similarly takes some things out (like FIP for pitchers and wOBA/wRC for hitters) and puts others in (like CGs and ShO for pitchers, fielding ratings, local popularity, and the like for hitters).

Sadly I am not perfect so I still find myself opening a player's screen and looking at their WAR on that page, but I try to avoid it!
