Change league from IND to ML
I created my main fictional league with the thought of eventually I would roll in the real MLB with real players and it would be fun to watch MLB simulate while playing my solo fictional league. Well, I scratched that idea mainly because the way the stats compile (in the independent league), they compile in the minor league section with the other minor league branches I have. I get why that happens, but when it's my main league, it just looks all jumbled and hard to look at.
So, I was able to change the league from IND to ML (hoping it would just reclass properly) and it changed all the historical stats from IND to ML but the yearly stats still live in the minor league section, however, the total stats live in the ML section. As a side note, all the awards changed into the Major League section. Now, I'm afraid to play a game thinking that the latest stats will compile in the ML section and then be segmented. Is there any way to reclass this properly? Or just change it back to IND and don't start messing with it? Screenshot below as an example. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...?id=1084043591 Last edited by Ramzavail; 07-21-2017 at 11:52 PM. |

Make it an international league and it will be classified separately

Sorry, I meant this to be titled IND to ML. I just changed it to INT, and it does the same thing as it does when I switch it to ML.
Anybody else? I'm scared to play a game and really mess things up. If there's no solution, I'll just leave it as IND. |

I'm sort of confused by what you're saying but I think I get it.
When you change a league from anything to Major League, the stats they compiled in the lower level do not count as major league stats. Only the years/stats when they were in the majors do. I ran into this with my pro/rel version of my long league where teams would alternate between divisions -- though for my purposes all three relegated leagues were also considered "major league -- Anyway, I don't quite understand what you want to see. The game currently as setup only considers major leagues to be major leagues. But for some international leagues, if a player wins awards in those leagues, their award icons still show up once they're in the majors to let you know what they did in an international league or whatever. I don't know why it does this, but it's generally fine. Those awards will always show up in the minor league section of the player history, even as you're able to see the player's icons that indicate the awards look like major league ones, but aren't. It doesn't matter though, really. I think honestly, you ought to just leave it as a non-major league and save yourself the headache until you're sure you want it to be a permanently major league or whatever. Or perma keep their league as independent and if you want teams promoted to the majors, create a new shell league for them or promote them to your major league itself.
