i've been playing this game regularly since v. 13 .... i've read the "news" as it appears in the game - but never really looked at Newspapers until recently ... "had" to change an owner recently, so wrote a story in the paper about the new (and rich) owner ....what a cool feature, hardly essential to the game imo, but a very cool add on.

I too recently discovered the feature and like it a lot; I now use it as my home page in the game. I wish it were costomisable or exportable, but expecting a native desktp publishing app is probably a little far-fetched

well, yes ... heard about this but never looked into it ..... guess the manual is a good place to start ....

will need to look at this in off season, i guess, as the option is grey out in my regular season .... would work wonders if we ever got Negro Leagues into the game, or if i decided it was worth going through thousands of pages of books and online screens and tried to get something together for myself. Never knew much about it or how it worked. Still a bit foggy, but will go back to the manual and give it another look see later. Now i may never ever get the ambition to tackle this project (as it'd be massive and time consuming and i'm not exactly in the spring of life....), but THANK YOU for pointing out the potential.

It's certainly something worth future consideration.

after getting to off-season - looks like you can only associate already created Major Leagues ..... so i'd have to wait and see if 18 has Negro Leagues created as an independent major league ..... still a great function that i'm glad i learned about. Danke!
