Problem downloading file

Any idea what could be wrong? It's gone on for awhile. He say's he can do it fine for his other league.

I click on 'click for updated League File' then click ok
It starts to download then when the bar hits 100% it stops (the line above the bar says reading files)
after 5 or 10 seconds I get an error message (ERROR: Could Not Get File Information.)
If I try to download again it processes for several seconds then the error message comes up again (no loading bar)

I figured I would reply to this as well, since I messaged Rem to see if he had figured out or heard of a fix to this issue as just today, this same exact issue has arisen with my game.

I tried erasing and reinstalling the league file - Problem persists.
I uninstalled the entire game and reinstalled the game and league file cleanly - Problem persists.

Nothing has changed on my end with my puter so I don't understand why this issue would just all of a sudden pop up. No one else in the league I belong too has had this issue.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Be sure to delete the entire league folder from the saved games folder. I'm not sure if uninstalling the game does this. So delete the folder completely then redownload from the website.

I am getting this as well.

I completely deleted the league file, re-installed ootp, the problem still persists.

are you on the same version of 12 12.5.38?
Are you on a MAC vs PC.....I know I have had problem when i send kev24fan a file from my PC to his MAC the folder has to be renamed. I dont have any problems when he sends me files.
Did ya extract the file and then made sure its actually the .lg folder and not just the league name folder. i use winrar to extract but i still had to cut & paste my most recent online league folder from the league name folder.

beyond that i have no clue, i can imagine how frustrating it must be to get the online league file working, plus its taking forever we should be near ST by now.
