Force trade
I would like to play a 1987 historic game in which I reconstruct one of my former Fantasy League teams, my beloved Norwich Hillbillies (they won in our league in 1987).
I stumbled on "force trade" while setting up a learning game (being new to OOTP), which seemed to allow me to swap players at will without regard to the other manager's attitude or financial constraints. But when I then started a 1987 game and tried to make my first trade the "force trade" was not activated. What am I missing? Thanks for your help. |

Make sure you are in Commissioner Mode. If you go to your manager options page, there will be a box which says Commissioner Mode. Make sure it is checked. Also, make sure that Real Life Transactions are disabled.

Also bear in mind that 1987 was a season in which the Dark Side prevailed, so there is less Force available.

Thank you . . . Commissioner mode does the trick.
Now I'll reconstruct my 1987 team, and see what the consequences are for financials. |
