League Question concerning patchs

I am just wondering if I was to update to the latest patch and league members didn't, will I still be able to import their changes and will they still be able to get the file correctly?

Or does everyone need to be on the same version? Say the OOTP 11 and then you have the OOTP 11.1.8

It's best to post online league questions on the online league section of the boards for a number of reasons including that they're more likely to get responses there. I've moved it for you.

I don't know the answer, but hopefully someone here does. To be safe I'd say yes. Even Markus might think, "no, there's no incompatibilities between 2 particular patch versions", but then later we might find out that there is one that he didn't think of.

For this reason it's probably best to find out if any of your members have purchased the game from GamersGate and whenever you do upgrade to advise them to purchase only through OOTP as patches can sometimes take a long time to be released by others.

I updated to the patch in my leagues and still had an owner or two at the original version and when I imported exports, I got the wrong version failure for those teams so if you upgrade, everyone needs to upgrade.

thanks a lot, all i needed to know. how about vise versa? If your the owner with an older patch and your members upgrade?
