BZ 3430: Text fails to wrap correctly in in-game help

On a lot of the manual pages I find the text does not format correctly and the lines run over each other. It is very difficult to use the manual and get help on questions when you cannot read it.

Yeah, I just resort to using the online manual.

Are your issues within the game or when you send it to an external browser or both? I find that the manual is really slow in the game, but it looks like crap in an external browser (some text is way bigger or smaller than other text and it often bleeds into other parts). The online manual, however, is great. If you always have access to the net that is.

Herc, if you can let me know the specific pages, I can see that they get corrected so that they work normally in-game as well as online.

Here are some pages I, and my guess is others also, frequently visit:

player_profile.html
finances.html
player_personalities.html

Unfortunately, I think you could go to pretty much any page and find problems with it. Fixing the pages that deal with the game setup screens might be a good start since they probably get referenced a lot at least when starting leagues.

I have found that this seems to be strictly a problem with values in the first column of a table not wrapping correctly. I have logged this as issue # 3430, and I'll ask Andreas to take a look at it. Unfortunately, it's not something I can correct myself.

Let me know if you see any cases where the problem isn't what I've described above!

Thanks. If it's just one thing for most of that stuff and one fix fixes most of those that'd be great.

As for something different, I came across something just the other day:

OOTP Baseball Manual - Draft Rules

See the bottom part. It's a little difficult to read when it's all blue and underline. The inaugural draft link gets repeated too.
