OOTP Fast-Sim League now in its 7th season, looking for new crop

The Front Office Offseason League is now heading into its 7th season of action. We have 16 teams, all with human owners, but a few might be leaving soon and we'll have openings for people who interested in being active. We use OOTP9.

The league plays on a torrid schedule. We sim the ENTIRE season a week. During the week, we make trades, sign free agents and run an draft that the AI conducts for us automatically. Exports are due Friday night and we run the entire season over a weekend. Injuries are off, fatigue is on. It's a lot of fun.

We've got great, experienced, veteran owners and participation rates well over 90% per day, per sim.

I invite you to check the league out, by posting in the forums here.

The league is perfect for solo players who might want to play against other owners, without the minutia of having to spend hours per day simming in a regular league or getting bored playing on your own.

We'd prefer you have some experience playing OOTP multiplayer, but if you don't and understand the game well, we'd be glad to chat with you about possibly joining.

Due to the response, we're adding a new league just for vultures and that way, people can still be in FOOL and get used to the league. So don't worry about us being full, there are still spots for you to play!

We've even setup a 8 team Vulture League for prospective owners, so even if we don't have a team for you in the main league, you can still play in FOOL and participate like a regular owner. They even have MLB team names, for simplicity sake. Check us out on the forums and post if you're interested in being on the list.

It's seriously an extremely unique experience and a TON of fun.

I'm about to give up my team -- which just won its league title and will compete tonight for the FOOL Championship -- and I'm looking for a new owner to join the league. Not sure they'll get that team, but there will be a team available for you.

Starting Monday, we'll be in our 10th season of FOOL action. We're still going strong!

This is a great league for Solo players. Once you join you will be hard pressed to be imersed in another Solo League again! We currently have 4 openings (New York, El Paso, Texas, and Toronto). Come check out the rage that even has its own quick-start!

I cant go back to solo play because of this league. I have to get my "FOOL" fix all the time. Still got a few teams open with like 8 core owners around from the opening of the league to fof members. If your really into online leagues you have to come check us out!

I can not say enough good things about this league. The activity level is outstanding...everyday you come home from work and there is something to do in the FOOL...tons of trade activity, league discussions and just plain FUN!
I love the career aspect...to quote a legendary FOOL Gm in one of this weekends posts

"Stupid emotional decisions involving electronic, non-existent players!"

That is so right....In a matter of 2 months real time, a player you drafted, and coveted, watched grow and develop into a superstar will about-face and blow you off to test the FA market. I LOVE that aspect! This is the ultimate dynasty league!

Bumping.... Looking to fill 4 spots?? maybe 5??? not sure on the correct number. But the FA period starts.... then the draft so its a good time to get in. We have some good already established teams waiting to be taken over, and some rebuild jobs. Your choice!

Four teams are open at the moment. Indeed he's right. We've got a new governance structure that gives owners more say in the direction of the league and we've got your choice of teams available. Not that much committment, but tons of enjoyment out of this league.

13th season and we've only been doing this since June. We're consistent and it's a blast. Get in on it!

Just two teams left, both are DH teams -- Colorado and El Paso. The Colorado Rancheros are stocked and coming off three straight FOOL Classic appearances and won their first title in six years this past season.

Check us out, you'll be glad you did!

We've completed almost seven seasons since I started this thread back in July. No online slow pace in FOOL. "Go get 'em next year is next week!"
