OOTP Gods: Rebuilding Team Finances?

Rebuilding a team is easy (well, straightforward might be a better term). But the finer art of rebuilding a team's finances has eluded me. What tricks or strategies exist?

I try to pick easy wins for my promotional days, and use them all each month in the hopes of gradually increasing fan interest. But is there any substitute for simply winning?

In other words, does a way exist to build up your team finances, fan loyalty, fan interest, etc. outside of simply winning a lot of ballgames?

I have a slightly above average team market and average fan loyalty with a 41 fan interest. The team averages about 16,000 fans per game, and tickets are set (too high) at $11.

Any ideas? I don't want to tank 2-3 seasons to get high draft picks.

Thanks in advance.

No, you really need to win some games. You don't have to tank to get good draft picks. You can instead try to trade for good players or talented prospects.

fhomess,

Thanks. I thought it might be as simple as winning games, but I wanted to make sure there wasn't something I was missing. As far as "trading for good players or talented prospects", if I had anything to trade....

I read on one thread that you stand a better of chance of increasing your team market if you have a lot of sell outs in a season. Is that true?

Also, what (if anything) causes fan loyalty to increase between seasons?

I was wondering about this myself. I understand Fan Loyalty changes. But can your market size actually increase?
