What about custom sound packs? Easy enough to install alternate sounds ala FM?

We are not sure yet if the game will feature stadium-sound at all... I'll keep you updated.

I always thought it would be cool if you could assign a player specific music file to play when that player was coming to the plate or the mound. You know, have "Hell's Bells" start playing when you bring in your closer.

indeed. in game sound for me at least is a low priority.

Still it would be cool to eventully have say, certain voice packs for various annoucners through teh ages, completel with being able to reconize and play certain sound bits based on what is happenign on the field

Perhaps nix the crowd noise, but please try to keep the crack of the bat (in several distinct sounds) such as the kiss sound when it's hit long and the strike calls, slide sounds and catch sounds. Even rally songs. These songs allow gamers to customize the atmosphere of each stadium. All nice for those of us who like to play out the games. This enhances the since of movement and travel.

Anyway, if not in this version, perhaps it can be added again down the line.

Agreed. I actually miss playing with my stadium sounds, since I'm one of those people that gets the crash after a game.

As long as sound can be turned completely off, I'll be happy with whatever we get.

In-game sound would be a nice option, for those who prefer it. Personally, I think it helps with the "immersion" effect.
