Looks good. I'd be interested in the full file once it gets hosted. A couple of suggestions though:

-set it to manual calculation (tools | options | calculation tab | manual), that way it only recalculates when you press F9, otherwise you'll have to wait and lose what you had all the time when it recalculates on its own
-scroll each sheet to the top
-say where you got the population figures and how you turned them into the #s in the A columns as it'll help others tweak it for themselves if they want to maybe add more countries/cities.
