Yes, but if you're only interested in a certain type of logo or roster or whatever it would be nice to not spend time on the things you're not interested in

I dont see ratings as being that important. I never pay attention to ratings. I want to try it out for myself. I would have missed out on many addons that i liked if i looked at ratings. Though it might cool to have one top ten rating by downloads and a viewer vote (good clean mod making competition might be good thing and fun) but i dont think its neccessary by each download.

Me neither and that's why I said perhaps. There's a lot of good stuff out there that just doesn't get rated and then there's some not so great stuff that might get only 1 rating and it's perfect. I'd give much more credence to the editor rating myself.

But my overall impression is that i like it better than Baseball Sim Central.
At Central i have to go to games then ootp then the versionwhile at download center i click on facepacksand bBoom im there.

Oh, I didn't say any site was better overall. I just said he could get ideas from others.

I don't like how many sites separate stuff by OOTP version. There's many things that work with multiple versions. As a viewer/downloader you most likely have something fairly specific in mind (logos, rosters, whatever) and so I think Joe's way of separating things is best.

I agree with adding some things but not at the cost of cluttering it.

Same here. I didn't mean to suggest for him to include everything, I was just throwing out some ideas for him. I'll edit my original post and rank the ideas.
I have a question though. What exactly is a mod? I'm assuming in this context it is short for modification, but when I see things as OOTP mods they don't fit what I normally think of as a mod as in other games. Has there ever been a true OOTP mod? The reason why I ask is because of how Joe (and others) separates mods and misc. Many seem to me to be really utilities. I don't mean to be nitpicking, but I just think they could be categorized a bit better. As you said and I agreed, it's nice just to go to the section that you're specifically interested in. I think a lot of OOTP people have to come to find all these 3rd party releases as mods just because that is what this board is labeled.

EDIT: Thinking about it some more, perhaps my definition of a mod was too restrictive. When I think of a mod I think more of something like Team Fortress or Half-Life which takes the core of the original game (in those cases, Quake) and pretty much makes a whole new game. However, you don't really have to go that far. In fact, one could really call just switching the radio graphic a mod. If you've modified the game in any way then I guess it's technically a mod. Eh, whatever, nevermind me.
