The three-team round-robin for bracket seeding was a wake-up call for the North American champions. The Mumbai Directors (MUM) looked absolutely untouchable, cruising to a 6–2 record to take the top seed. Meanwhile, Chicago struggled to find their rhythm early, finishing 4–5 and narrowly edging out the defending GAC champion Bengaluru Royal Challengers (RCB) (3–6) to stay alive.
Despite Mumbai’s dominant 6–2 start to the tournament, they ran into a different version of Chicago in the Finals. The Blue Collars' pitching staff, led by a revitalized rotation, finally figured out the Mumbai lineup.
Chicago took the series in a commanding 4–1 victory winning the GAC and a Triple in the process.

The 2015 GAC will be remembered as the moment the Chicago Blue Collars (CBC) turned a historic regular season into a permanent place in baseball lore. Chicago has secured the Triple—the AL Table, AL Bracket, and the GAC World Trophy—capping off the most dominant single-season run in the history of the American League.
