Concerning understanding being a good thing, well, many would be disappointed to learn something they spent a lot of time analyzing and then making game decisions based on the analysis didn't exist at all.

It would be great if there was a manual that explained how the game worked. Instead of "those that know" and "those that don't". It might make it more enjoyable..
