Given that there are no games between February and May, is it really an impediment to transfer portal players that they could only
announce their transfer in the spring semester, but not formally transfer until summer? Yes, they would miss out on spring practice, but to quote Allen Iverson,.
"we talking about practice".
Give them a playbook, let them use some NIL $ to hire some pros to work out with. They'll stay in shape, they can fine-tune the details in the summer.
Is it an issue? Yes.
Is it insurmountable? IMO, no.
