Managerial Strategy Pack #1
Here are the first five:
Aggressive Running:
Real throwback style skipper who loves to push the action on the basepaths. Gives runners the green light frequently and isn't afraid to take extra bases. More traditional with the defensive alignments but will matchup with platoons when it makes sense.
Old School Small Ball:
Loves to play small ball - you'll see plenty of bunts and squeeze plays with this one. Heavy on defensive shifts but won't pull pitchers quickly. Classic National League style manager who isn't too concerned with matchups.
Extreme Platoon:
Lives and dies by the matchups. Quick with the hook and always looking for platoon advantages. Will manage the bullpen aggressively and isn't afraid to burn the bench to get the right batter-pitcher matchup.
Hold and Shift Commander:
Defense-first manager who's obsessed with controlling the running game and positioning. Very aggressive with holding runners and shifting the defense. More measured on offense but will use small ball when needed.
Speed and Defense Gambler:
Loves to create havoc on the bases while playing it safe with dangerous hitters. Will take risks running but prefers to pitch around power threats. Not big on defensive shifts but positions the infield aggressively.
