I mean, to be fair as a stats guy, this may be obvious too but I feel like I can point it out. Just as not everyone can win, not everyone can lose. That's just how the math works in a sport with no ties. If, theoretically we got to a point where one team had literally all the talent and the rest of the teams were rostered with 3rd graders, the stats wouldn't actually be that bad because there'd be parity among the 3rd graders haha.
