But keeping everyone that young will cause an age-related talent jam as new players come in and others don't retire.
So, if you let the 36-year-old Ruth stay and play and then made him 30 years later as an import, you could also call him Babe Ruth Jr.

Under the Players & Team menu the game has an option box for Don't re-use player ID's. I'm not sure if it's on or off by default. Thinking if one wanted to delete Ruth and have him reappear later, they would want to make sure that box remains unchecked.
