My sense is that with the default ratings, players rarely develop into their potentials past even the age of 25. By 30, nah. That isn’t to say that a 30 year old never improves but at that point it’s due to talent change randomness. I guess occasionally you’ll see a guy improve into those but it’s veeeeery rare and more often they’ll just lose the extra POT.

I do prefer playing with TCR jacked up a lot. I have it on 150; some guys go as high as 200. IME with 150 it still doesn’t feel like nothing happens; you still just only occasionally see someone break out later in their career, it just happens a little less occasionally.
