Team's Top Players

Cancun Toros

The toros best player is Jacob “Looney Tunes” Barke. The 30 year old starting pitcher features a fastball, cutter, and changeup and maxes out around 99 miles an hour. Barke has a big personality and is always the center of attention.

The best bat in the Toros lineup is without a doubt Jim Brewer. The old man (a young 35) is an incredibly contact hitter behind the plate, rarely striking out, and has above average power. He is a below average fielder, but more than makes up for that with his offense. He is a bit dull personality wise, but steady at the plate.

Guatemala Cannonballers

The cannonballer’s best player is left fielder Jeremy Aden who is not only a monster at the plate but on the base paths as well. He is an excellent contact hitter, base stealer and below average defender. He has a strong, commanding personality and demands respect.

On the pitching side, Justin Dicesare is the Cannonballers best arm. With a four pitch mix, Fastball, curveball, changeup, and splitter, he is able to throw up to 97 mph. He has great control with all of his pitches. He is a very intelligent player, always studying the game and the art of pitching.

Havana Rumrunners

John Tigges is the big bat in the Rumrunners lineup with excellent contact and big power. Tigges is a left handed bat who frankly doesn’t do much else, but he is a force to be reckoned with behind the plate. He is a very humble and kind person.

The Rumrunners best arm is a 25 year old starter, Bobby Trent. Trent is a groundball pitcher featuring a fastball, cutter, and a plus plus changeup. He is a fan favorite, especially beloved for his work ethic and loyalty to the club.

Panama City Cruisers

Mike “Beltin’ Bill “Simonet is going to hit a lot of dingers. The Cruisers leftie power bat has incredible power and the Thunderdome is perfect for him. Keep an eye out for him on the league leaderboards.

The cruisers have a young 24 year old pitcher who has lots of promise. He has a four pitch mix that are all plus pitches including a fastball, changeup, splitter, and forkball. He has a sidearm delivery that is very unique to look at. He is very outspoken and loves to argue with the umpire, or anyone within earshot.

Port Au Princes

The princes are captained by Mason Stone. The old man is likely nearing retirement but he is still playing well with lots of pop still in the bat. Stone is very well respected in his clubhouse and around the league. Whenever the day does come for him to retire, I would not be surprised to see him managing somewhere.

For the arms, Ernie “Virus” Hanson leads the princes. He has a five pitch mix fastball, curve, slider, changeup, and forkball. He is viewed as a leader and a winner by all around him. Hard worker, super intelligent, and loyal. The kind of guy you want to see win.

Puerto Rico Ranas

Josh Gray is the Ranas right handed power bat. Gray holds his own in center, but exceeds at left field. He is fast, and a decent base stealer, but his real talent is hitting the ball over the fence. He is a natural born leader and viewed as a captain in his clubhouse at the age of 29.

The Ranas best arm is Ben Sherman. The starter is a neutral pitcher who can throw a fastball, curve, change, splitter, and forkball. He is a leader in the Ranas clubhouse.

Santo Domingo Primadores

The Primadors best bat is Kyle Pintka. He is a great contact and power hitter, but can struggle with striking out. He is outspoken and disarmingly honest.

Jeremy Martin is the Primadores best pitcher and he is a rare starter with only two pitches. One of them, however, is a plus plus knuckleball. He only tops out at 85, but his knuckle is pretty untouchable. He is all business on the field, but he is a sparkplug in the clubhouse.

Teguz Tigers

The tigers’ Nick Meyer is incredible all around player. He is a monster with contact and homeruns behind the plat, has great speed, and has defensive versitility. He is a humble quite player, but will tear it up on the field.

The Tigers’ staff is pretty weak, but their best pitcher is a reliever named Dave Lewis. He is a typical 99 mph throwing power pitcher with a fastball and a curve. He is a total prankster in the clubhouse and quite the free spirit.
