April recap - Division leaders:

Lager League - Pilsner Division: Tree House Tornado - Tree House is riding a high powered offense (tied for the top rank in runs scored with 124) to put themselves atop the division after the first month of play. Right fielder Tony Perez is an unlikely leader in batting average for the team at .348 (he batted .219 last season).

Lager League - Kolsch Division: Twisted X Chupahopra - The other high powered offense in the league (124), has the Chupahopra with the early lead in the division. Youngster Nate Heier is swinging the hot bat for the club with a .373 average.

Lager League - Helles Division: Big Sky Trout Slayer - while struggling to score runs (13th ranked with 98), Big Sky is using a solid defense (4th ranked in defensive efficiency) and strong pitching (3rd ranked in starters ERA at 3.29; 2nd ranked in runs against with 87) to put them in the early lead. Starter Jessie Gonzalez (3-0, 0.57 ERA, 25 strikeouts) is off to his best start of his young career.

Lager League - Tripel Division: Texas Leaguer Chin Music - speed is the name of the game for the Chin Music (top ranked in stolen bases with 21) as they have run their way to the top of the division. Leadoff batter Mark Stonecipher is on pace for a career year in stolen bases.

Stout League - Porter Division: Crooked Crab Furious George - in a division with typical powerhouse clubs like Terrapin and Funky Buddha, fans of Crooked Crab are enjoying the early season success that has them leading the pack. Seven-time Pitcher of the Year, converted to closer, Jim Stamey is showing exactly why he's still feared on the mound no matter when he comes in the game, as he has 7 saves in 8 appearances, with only 2 walks, 14 strikeouts and a perfect 0.00 ERA.

Stout League - Dunkel Division: Jester King Das Wunderkind - a strong offense (2nd ranked in runs score with 128 and on base pct at .347; 3rd ranked in batting average at .286) has powered Jester King to the top of the division after the month of April. Youngster Nate McBride an veteran Bruce Nall are making the most of their opportunities with runners aboard as they lead the club with 21 and 23 RBIs respectively.

Stout League - Eisbock Division: Russian River Blind Pig - the long ball has carried the Blind Pig to the top of the standings (top ranked in home runs with 28). Center fielder Andy Mendoza is swinging the hot bat for the club. After missing the entire 2028 season with a broken elbow, Mendoza is making up for lost time, batting a team high .380 with 6 home runs and 20 RBIs after the first month.

Stout League - Altbier Division: Stony Creek Crankenstein - a stingy defense (2nd ranked in errors with 10; top ranked in runs against at 71) has Stony Creek atop the division with a 1.5 game lead. Left fielder John Jessie is off to a solid start for his new club. After winning the BCS last year with Horsefly, Jessie is looking to repeat that run with his new club. He is batting .352 with 2 home runs and 12 RBIs after the month of April
