The finances for the team are in the red, millions of dollars negative. Spring training is the next sim which is when finances lock for the year. The draft has pick negotiations enabled, what will happen to all the draft picks? Released due to negative budget and commish refusing to allow a trade to clear salary prior to spring training start.
The wording in the constitution is clear that only teams joining midseason have to wait to trade, no mention of the offseason. There is an exception for a team joining at the trade deadline, then they can trade all the teams players away - yet you can't fix the team budget woes before the season starts.
Just look at the first post from a year ago, the same teams they are trying to fill a year later because of the disaster job the commish does running this league. The above poster lying through his teeth about the team when it is clear as day the team has been mismanaged for over a year now.
Any commish who rushes simming through an entire offseason with an empty team then doesn't allow the new GM to make any moves for opening day is a fraud
