After two humiliating defeats at home where they failed to score a single run, Funky Buddha looked for some redemption in game 3 to avoid the dreaded 0-3 hole in the 7 game series. They came out swinging this time, scoring 2 runs in the top of the first. Two more runs in the top of the 7th proved to be enough as the Huki Idol claimed a 4-2 victory to cut their series deficit to 2-1
