While not the outing Weyerbacher had hoped for from their starter, Troy Daniel didn't give up any runs in his 3.2 innings of work, with 5 hits allowed, no walks and 3 strikeouts. He was pulled in the 4th inning as Amine Brisset came in to cover the next 2.1 innings (no hits, no runs). Danny Martinez would cover the 7th with goose eggs across his line-score; and closer Bill Mora would pick up the 2 inning save, as the Blithering Idiot evened the series at 2 games apiece with a 2-0 victory.
