I move the draft to the first week of spring training. I like it there, feels more natural. But even if I advanced my offseason one day at a time, 200 mails is still 200 mails.
I use pre draft scouting to have up-to-date ratings and pontentials, as accurate as my scout is capable. So when I'm perusing my options on my turn in the draft I know that the ratings on my shortlisted fellas is a little more trustworthy. I don't need to individually delete 200 mails for that.
Part of the problem is that scouting reports all have different subject lines. You can't just scan the wall of mails and quickly see what in there isn't a scouting report. So I choose "delete all" and if I miss some other non-scouting message I'd have liked to see, then... so be it, sacrifices must be made.
