Mashing Series - Game 1: #1WC Boulder Killer Penguin (88-74, 2nd post season) vs #4WC Great Raft Reasonably Corrupt (84-78, 4th post season)
One swing of the bat from center fielder Paul Kelm was all that Great Raft needed in game 1 as he blasted a 3 run homer in the 4th inning to give his club a 3-2 lead, which they would not relinquish. Starter Jason Opatz and reliever Tom Mahoney did a tag-team effort to claim a 4-2 win
