May recap:

Lager League: Pilsner Division - Weyerbacher Blithering Idiot - After a scorching month of April that stretched into May, including a 26 game winning streak from April 14 to May 12, Weyerbacher "stumbled" a bit in May, losing three times as many games (6) as they did in April (2); to finish the month at 41-8, with a solid 15 game lead. Not surprising they are top ranked in both runs scored and runs against. Free agent signing Justin Devlin is batting an impressive .400 for the season, with Antonio Santistevan right behind at .396.

LagerLeague: Kolsch Division - Scorched Earth Giant Killer - After a mediocre April (10-10), Scorched Earth picked up the pace with a solid 20-9 month of May to move into the lead by 1.5 games. While the team leads the league in home runs (76), they struggle in batting average (13th with .251).

Lager League: Helles Division - Boulder Killer Penguin - Still no one wanting to step up to take control of the Helles division, as Boulder sits atop with a sub-500 record of 24-25, a mere 4.5 games out of last place.

Lager League: Tripel Division - Great Raft Reasonably Corrupt - With the 3rd best record in the Beer League, Great Raft hoped to have a more sizeable lead in their division, but they have the misfortune of being in the same division with the 4th best team in the Beer League (Meadowlark) who sit just 2 games back. Without any flashy batters (top average Toby Price with .288), the Reasonably Corrupt are making it a team effort.

Stout League: Porter Division - Terrapin Hopsecutioner - Stumbling in the last week with a 4 game losing streak (combined with a 7 game winning streak by 2nd place Palmetto) has reduced Terrapin's lead to 4 games. Designated hitter Hector Davila is leading the offense with a solid .345 average

Stout League: Dunkel Division - Sleeping Giant Beaver Duck - another tight division, Sleeping Giant sits atop with a 25-24 record, only 5 games out of last place. A solid defensive team (1st in runs against), if they can pick up the pace with their offense they could run away with the division.

Stout League: Eisbock Division - Red Rock Elephino - with the second best team batting average in the league, Red Rock has 5 of their 9 starters batting over .300 to power their offense to the top of the division.

Stout League: Altbier Division - Stony Creek Crankenstein - similar to Red Rock, Stony Creek is riding a solid offense to sit atop the division. Top ranked in average at .304, they have 4 starters batting over .300 and another three .296 or higher.
