Suggestion: Pitchers should "know" how long they will be expected to pitch
A lot of questions around how pitchers fatigue. This is related. It does make sense that pitchers should fatigue differently if they start or relieve. Sort of. Pitcher usage is changing and the starter/reliever designation is blurring. In real life, pitchers know about how many batters they will be facing, or how many innings they will be pitching when they enter a game. And they pace themselves accordingly. This is, largely, absent in OOTP. It exists somewhat with openers and followers but should be expanded. The most obvious example is when a starting pitcher is replaced early in a game. Sometimes the reliever who comes in will be expected to pitch a short (1-3) inning outing. But others, they are expected to pitch like a second starter. OOTP, to the best of my knowledge, will always fatigue the reliever (even if the reliever is a starter) as though they will only pitch a few innings. This should be variable.
Also this is a really good idea/observation
