We're going to fast-forward through the off-season/spring training to get to the start of the regular season... a rundown of league news:
-23 Feb 2020: Starting pitcher Marquis Davis of the Texas Leaguer Chin Music will be out 10 months after being mugged on the subway and suffering a fractured eye socket.
-6 Mar 2020: Starting pitcher Chris Velarde of the Goose Island Goslings will be out 4 weeks with shoulder bursitis.
-11 Mar 2020: Relief pitcher Alex Zendejas of the Palmetto Ghost Rider will be out 5 months with bone chips in his elbow.
-11 Mar 2020: Shortstop Juan Lopez of the Thimble Island Kraken will be out 4 weeks due to a strained groin muscle.
-15 Mar 2020: Starting pitcher Blake Miller of the Rabid Dwarves of Doom will miss 2 months with a herniated disc.
-18 Mar 2020: Catcher Judite Aleixa of the Red Rock Elephino will miss 4 months due to a ruptured finger tendon.
-19 Mar 2020: Third baseman Andy Angulo of the Toboggan Lunatic Fridge will miss 6 weeks with a fractured rib.
-20 Mar 2020: In a crushing blow, starting pitcher Chase Wiseman of the Waikiki Ala Moana will miss the entire inaugural season thanks to a torn flexor tendon in his elbow.
-21 Mar 2020: It was a bad couple days for arm tendons, as relief pitcher Brock Luchetti of the Four Hands Typhon suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and will miss the entire season.
-22 Mar 2020: Starting pitcher Manny Mercado of the Laughing Sun Red Dwarf will miss 7 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow.
-25 Mar 2020: Look out for those elbows... Relief pitcher Victor Antuna of the Twisted X Chupahopra will miss the entire season with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow.
-26 Mar 2020: Centerfielder Ramon Hernandez of the Mispillion River Space Otters will miss 6 months with a concussion.
-29 Mar 2020: Relief pitcher Kevon Cox of the Jester King Das Wunderkind will miss the season due to a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament.
-30 Mar 2020: Relief pitcher Juan Tapia of the Crooked Crab Furious George will miss 4 months with radial nerve compression.
-31 Mar 2020: Starting pitcher Joe Lara of the Twisted X Chupahopra will miss the season due to a damaged elbow ligament.
