Interleague rivalries are showing up correctly on my end, but let me know if they don't work for you when importing. In the first schedule, interleague rivalries are all played near the ASG, so you can check that way. I think you said you're playing as the Mariners? In that case, the first schedule should see you play vs. Portland the week before the ASG, @Portland the week after, with games vs. Oakland and @Texas in between on the weekends.

Pack of 10 schedules for 40 teams, 162 games - 2 subleagues, each with 5 divisions of 4 teams
Interleague YES, balanced games NO
----------
14 games vs. 3 division opponents (7H/7A, 42 total games)
6-7 games vs. 16 league opponents (3-4H/3-4A, 99 total games)
7 games vs. designated interleague rival, as described in the top post of this thread (3-4H/3-4A)
14 total games spread between 6 random other interleague opponents (2-3 per opponent)
----------
Season begins on the last Thursday of March and ends on a Sunday around the end of Sept.
Weekday games begin at 7:05 PM local time, Sundays are 1:05 and Saturdays a mix between 1:05, 4:05 and 7:05
All-Star Game in the normal spot, a Tuesday in mid July (specifically July 13-19)
----------
All teams play their interleague games at the same time, but the games themselves are spread out throughout the year. I'd usually do that with a little more variety but given the format here it was way simpler for me to do it this way.
Rotation ensures that every interleague matchup is played at least once per 5-year period, and all five of those schedules are then mirrored so teams will always visit every other stadium at least once in the decade it takes to rotate. Place all 10 schedules in your schedules folder, select the first one to import and OOTP should automatically rotate between them all. Schedule 1 & 6 are identical with home/away flipped, and so on.
----------
Road trips and homestands should be pretty reasonable, though I didn't specifically focus on them in this project anything longer than 10 games should be pretty rare.

EDIT: Oh yeah, this is a minor thing but I did have to include one pre-scheduled doubleheader in order to correct a mistake I made partway through. It's in years 3&8 and doesn't involve your team (it's Expos vs. Diamondbacks in early May, Montréal in year 3 & Phoenix in year 8), so you may not have ever noticed but it's there.
