Barring an unexpected windfall, the mid-season spending spree of the Waffletown GM came to an end late in the evening of June 26th. With a handful of players on his watch-list (only one of which was actually affordable), the GM of Waffletown took one last glance at the waiver wire for any potential offers he couldn't refuse. As luck would have it, a player popped up immediately, and it took all of 3 seconds for the deal to be made. Joining the squad:

In another unusual move, rather than send down a pitcher, the GM decided to send Mel Ott to the reserves and bolster the pitching staff with an extra arm.
