I have a workbook for pitchers, and another for hitters. I copied and pasted the stats for each onto a sheet, then removed the stats. but kept the headers. I then made another copy of that, to use as the template sheet. I'd make copies of that template sheet for each tournament. On the 'top' page, I had each cell sum every one of the cells on the range of sheets after it... so cell G3 of sheets 1, 2, 3, etc., would be summed up on the top sheet.
I can then run set up formulas on the top sheet to get AVG, SLG, OPS, etc.
As each tournament ends, I create a new sheet from the template and copy the stats in.
From there, I can see how my players have performed as the sample size gets larger.
